Flowers & Friends- A La Carte Wedding Flowers- Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is the difference between A La Carte and having a consultation with Melissa about wedding flowers?

    A La Carte is more budget friendly. It allows you to select items from the three collections offered to match your event style. There are three different color palettes to choose from, the Purity(all whites), Blush(mix of white, blush, and offwhite), and the Jewel(multicolored) collections. Seasonal blooms will be used and discretion will be up to Melissa in flower choice. The pricing is the same across these three collections. Where if you choose to have a consultation with Melissa, every detail is discussed, a variety of ideas/themes will be provided, flower options will also be reviewed(substitutions can still be made if necessary, as stated in contract). A La Carte is a great option for elopements, lower budget events, and intimate gatherings.

  2. Can I choose which flowers or customize my designs?

    We cannot guarantee the use of specific flowers. We base off of the season, locally grown, and availability. We match up to the color of collection ordered. We can not customize the collections. Flowers & Friends reserves the right to make substitutions to fresh product and vases based on availability, quality, and pricing.   3. When do I need to place my order? And how does the ordering process work?

    To ensure our availability, we recommend placing your order as soon as possible. All orders must be placed 5 weeks prior to your event. Any additions, changes, or cancellations must be made at least one month out. After the one month mark we will have already ordered the product and we will be unable to accommodate changes or give a refund. Refunds are subject to a $95 processing fee.

    Click on the A La Carte Wedding Flowers, choose which items from each collection you’d like to order, verify the quantity amounts, and submit your order. You will receive a confirmation email from Melissa. You’ll just need to pick up on the date your requested.

  4. Is delivery and set up included?

    No, delivery is not included in the A La Carte items and nor will we set up. We recommend delegating a helpful friend or family member to pick up and/or set up florals.

    You may request to have your florals delivered but delivery is $1.75 per mile round trip. We will not set up, even with us delivering when ordering through A La Carte, that’s why it’s more budget friendly.

  5. Can I cancel my order once it’s been placed?

    You may cancel your order up to 31 days prior to the event date. After 30 days, all payments are non-refundable. Any additions, changes, or cancellations must be made at least one month out. After the one month mark we will have already ordered the product and we will be unable to accommodate changes or give a refund. Refunds are subject to a $95 processing fee.
